KAR Pipelines Ltd, a KAR Group affiliated company, which was established to extend pipelines, install, check, and pump stations including all maintenance operation details with a high efficiency. KAR Pipelines Ltd is determined to implement high quality work in the sector, with a higher capacity of technical skills and a distinguished performance within the limited time frames without risking the safety of its staff. For this goal, and in order to be in line with international companies, the company undertakes all correct procedures to ensure work safety and the wellbeing of its staff and laborers during the work. Moreover, it seeks to decrease the environmental effects that occur through the stages of each work phase. The company has more than 75 office-based staff in Erbil, in addition to over 500 cadres in the working fields, all with the required engineering and technical experience and qualifications. The work is based on EPC contracts basis.
The Engineering Department in the Company performs all basic and detailed engineering work and planning of complex piping works.
The Purchasing Department is in charge of purchasing materials, arranging bills, testing, logistic services, and transportation of materials and equipment, in addition to all other details required by our clients ‘projects.
The Constructions Department conducts civil engineering, mechanical and electrical work in our projects including precision tools, and the control systems connected with them. The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department is among the important departments that organize training courses and grants international certificates on the safety and protection of the staff during work. KAR Pipelines Ltd has constructed the main pipeline at a length of 360 km, and it oversees the maintenance so that it can be used to export oil to Turkey efficiently in accordance with international standards. The Company has also constructed many other pipelines (around 765 km) during the past years in various sizes that range between 10 -40 inches. It has also constructed checking, pumping, gauging, and control stations for many international companies like Taqa, Gulf Keystone, Hunt Oil, Crescent, Dana Gas, DNO, and HKN.
