As part of the departmental activities designed to enhance the students’ experiences, third-grade students of the Petroleum and Mining Engineering (PAME) Department, Faculty of Engineering  at Tishk International University (TIU) went on a scientific field trip to KAR Group Company-Khurmala Oil Field, located about 35 kilometers southwest of Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq

The trip aimed to familiarize the students with field life, comparing the subjects they have taken theoretically with available facilities in the field, including completed wells, Christmas tree configurations, pipelines, GPS units including various separators, crude headers, multiphase flow meters, gas flares and many more.
