The Factory consists of the following six sections:

1- Department of limestone and clay quarries stone, including limestone crusher and clay crusher.
2- Department of production processes, which consists of; a) unit of clay and limestone accumulation and preparation, b) unit of proportions
identification and components mixing and storage, c) milled raw materials unit, d) raw materials silo unit, e) initial roasting and
heating unit, and f) clinker cooling unit.
3– Department of storage operations, cement grinding and packing, consisting of; a) clinker storage unit, b) ingredients fixing unit, c)
cement grinding unit, d) cement storage silos unit, and e) packing and storage unit.
4- Department of quality control and laboratories.
5 – Department of maintenance.
6 – Department of stores.

As for the raw materials used in production, limestone is provided from the quarry located in the vicinity of the plant area. Also, clay is
provided from the same area. Meanwhile, additional substances are imported to Iraq. Regarding cement types produced at the factory,
all three types of OPC, SRC, and calcareous cement are produced. The Plant has obtained ISO certification No. (ISO 9001:2015 – ISO
14001:2015 – ISO 45001:2018).
